Tank Bund:

The Tank Bund Road runs between Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The Tank Bund dams Hussian sagar Lake on the eastern side and connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It has become an attraction with 33 statues of famous people of AndhraPradesh erected by former chief minister N.T.Rama Rao.


Gandipet Cheruv:

Gandipet Lake is situated about 20kms away from the Hyderabad City Centre. With a sprawl of 46kms it provides good entertainment by the way of boating. The waters of Gandipet are golden in the morning and evenings. There ia also a play of blue and black colors as the clouds come and go by. People spend the entire day here, playing games, being on the gaint wheel, eating fast foods or just sitting by the lake. Its good place to be in with the entire family.


Himayat Sagar:

Just about 20kms from Hyderabad, the Himayat Sagar lake lies parallel to its older, larger and more widely known sibling - Osman Sagar Lake - both of which are some of the must sees in the city. Himayat Sagar was built on the Esi tributary of Musi river by the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad predominantly to collect water during the Indian monsoons and store it to last through the otherwise dry and rainless year.

Golkonda:

Golkonda, also known as Golconda or Golla Konda, a ruined city of Southern India and capital of ancient Golconda sultanate is situated 11kms west of hyderabad. It is also a mandal of Hyderabad District. The region is universally famous for the mines that have produced the world's most famous and coveted gems.

Charminar:

The Charminar was built in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth Sultan dynasty of India. This is the grand and majestic center piece of the city. Translated roughly as 'Four Towers' or 'Mosque of the Four Minarets', the Charminar is also called by some as the Arc de Triomphe of the east and is one of the most important monuments of Hyderabad.

Ravindra Bharathi:

Ravindra Bharathi has been a prestigious National Theatre, constructed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the name of Sri. Rabindranath Tagore, the national Nobel laureate from Asia, to serve the cultural needs of Andhra Pradesh. It is located at Saifabad, Hyderabad.


Taramati Baradari:

Taramati Baradari is located at Imbrahimbagh on the Osman Sagar Road, Close to Golconda. The Complex is spread over a sprawling 7-arce area amidst lush green environs with the backdrop of the farmed Golconda Fort.

Ramoji Film City:

The Ramoji Film City in India is situated near Hayathnagar in Hyderabad. At 1666 acres, It is the largest integrated film city in the world. It is also a popular tourism and recreation centre, containing both natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park. Certified by the Guinness world Records as the world's largest film studio complex, at Ramoji Film City a film maker can walk with a script and walk out with film.

Jalavihar: 

Jalavihar is an water park located in Hyderabad, within an area of about 12.5 acres. Located beside Sanjeevaiah Park and along the Hussain Sagar lake, the park was in augurated on 20th May, 2007. Shilparamam:

Shilparamam is an arts and crafts village located in Madhapur, Hyderabad. The village was conceived with an idea to create an environment for the preservation of traditional crafts. Sanjeevaiah Park:

Sanjeevaiah Park is a public green space and park in the heart of  Hyderabad. Built on 92 acres along the banks of Hussain Sagar lake, the park is named after Damodaram Sanjeevaiah, an erst while Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The park is managed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. The park won the Best Open Landscape Award during the 2010 Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage award presentations.

NTR Gardens:

NTR Gardens is a small, but popular, public, urban park of 36 acres adjacent to Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad. Constructed in several phases since 1999, the area that is predominantly a park is geographically located in the centre of the city, and is close to other tourist attractions such as Birla Mandir, Necklace Road and Lumbini Park.

A major attraction on the tank Bund Road is the Lumbini Park. It is small public, Urban park of 7.5 acres adjacent to Hussian Sagar in Hyderabad. Since it is geographically located in the center of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, Such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. In this park everyday organize a musical fountain show at 6:30 evening. The fountains dance to the tunes of popular numbers from Hindi and Telugu film songs. This is one of the must see sight and almost the park is crowded with visitors and picnickers.

Indira Park:

Indira park is having 76 acres of area and it lies on the lower Tank Bund road beside the Hussain sagar. It is named after the former Prime Minister of Indira, Mrs.Indira Gandhi. It is one of the oldest parks in the twin cities. It is charming entertainment park for common people, School children, families and also tourists as the landscaping of Indira Park was very uniquely designed without disturbing the natural elements existing in park such as wild date palms,  keuvda Plantation and sandal wood trees and fruit plants like mango, kalajamun etc.

Nehru Zoological Park:

One of the largest and the best zoos in Asia, the Nehru Zoological park has nearly 1,500 species of animals, birds and reptiles. The major attraction within the zoo, however, is the Lion Safari. A van Bared with wrought iron takes you through the gates of the safari - opening one gate at a time into a completely different world of wild animals where lions, tigers, rhinos, wild oxen, panthers, etc. are left freely in the wilderness of a simulated jungle. A must visit for all those who can walk around for 6-7 hours to cover the entire zoo which is on 300 acres of land. Spanning 300 lush green acres, the Nehru Zoological park is a must for nature lovers. It has over 250 species of animals and birds, most of which are kept in conditions as close to their natural habitats  as possible.

Runway9:

Runway9 is the premier family entertainment & adventure centre in Hyderabad. Birla Planetarium:

Birla Planetarium a wing of the B.M. Birla Science centre at Hyderabad is a large planetarium near the Government of India tourist office providing a virtual tour of the stars and the solar system. It is located near the famous tourist attraction Birla Mandir at the center of the city, on the small hill known as Naubat Pahad. It was inaugrated by the Late N.T.Rama Rao, on 8th september 1985. This planetarium displays and demonstrates the advances in science and technology.

Salar Jung Museum:

The Salar Jung Museum is an art museum located at Darushifa, on the southern bank of the Musi river in the city of Hyderabad. It is one of the three National Museums of India. It has a collection of sculptures, paintings, carvings, textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artifacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture from Japan, China, Burma, Nepal, India, Persia, Egypt, Europe, and North America. The museum's collection was sourced from the property of the Salar Jung family.
